Spring! I think

As I write it is half raining and half snowing.  A great day to be working indoors.  And I have been working!  My friend Janet and I have made 2 quilts for Quilts of Valour.  Here is one that is just missing the binding.
Then I did a mystery quilt with the guild and am very pleased with the look of it.  Now to figure out a quilting design.  This is only a part of it - it's a double bed size.
Our guild does a raffle quilt every year and this year it will be a New York Beauty.   So these are the two blocks that I've made to contribute.

There are a few more projects underway, so stay tuned!

Beautiful blocks, Dianne! Was there a specific colour palette suggested? Love the stars and polka dots.

And I do like the pine tree quilt as well. The quilting design is such a great choice. I'm sure it will be appreciated when it is presented.

Linda has organized the quilt and will put it together for the guild's raffle quilt for NOVA for next year. She gave everyone the solid blue with which to co-ordinate our own fabrics.
