I finally got back to do some dyeing in preparation for teaching. The class I gave at the guild was a basic one where a range was dyed using the colour wheel, a parfait, some scrunching and pleating for bucket dyeing and just painting dye onto fabric. One of the participants, Tanis, has a very nice write-up on her blog
http://tanisfiberarts.blogspot.ca/ and you might want to take a look at what she does with knitting wool- she's a brilliant colourist.

I also taught a snow-dyeing workshop in Deux Montagnes and used a rather worn white t-shirt of mine to show how it's done. This shirt has a whole new lease on life!
